Turkey offers operating rights for 115 MW Akköprü hydro plant

The Privatization Administration of Turkey, through its financial advisor the Development Investment Bank of Turkey (TKYB), has invited bids by 30 May to acquire operational rights for the 115 MW Akköprü hydroelectric power plant for a period of 49 years.

World Bank seeks study of pumped storage in SAPP

The World Bank invites expressions of interest by 8 May from qualified consultants to carry out an analytical study on the conceptual role and the economic viability of pumped storage in the Southern Africa Power Pool (SAPP).

Hidroelectrica tenders completion of Nehoiasu II project

Romania’s state-controlled hydropower producer Hidroelectrica has launched a tender for the completion of the 55 MW Nehoiasu II run-of-river project, part of the Siriu-Surduc complex, in southern Romania.
