A dynamic public policy institute that commemorates and is inspired by the
life and work of Gough Whitlam. The Whitlam Institute’s home is the
historic, heritage-listed Female Orphan School in Parramatta, and is a hub
of history, research, social and cultural events. It houses the permanent
Gough Whitlam Prime Ministerial exhibition, which features items of
national significance including The Dismissal Letter and It’s Time campaign
material.
