"So when  bottle water washing filling capping machine comes to the actual worker, where they are trying to fill the bottles, they should not use water to fill the bottles. Instead, they can do it with air and nitrogen," Bonnick said.
 
 "So it's a clean, safe process that doesn't require a lot of energy to produce."
 
 Georgian Bay, an Ontario-based spirits company, had its first bottle produced at Kinsbrae Estates on Thursday.
 
 Environmental impact and cost were the main reasons why designer Denzil Wadds wanted to get involved.
 
 "Transporting glass bottles from any place where they are made, some made in China, Chile, or some  in Italy, is expensive, difficult, and has a great impact on the owners ," Wadds said.
 
 "These [paper bottles] are five times lighter than  glass bottles. They have six times less  carbon footprint than  glass bottles. It's just a better story. It is a better product in every way, both in terms of price and support.

Brick Shape Carton Filling and Sealing Machine PLC+ Touch Screen 3300BPH is  using  paper bottles for its gin for the first time, but Wadds said he hopes it will eventually be used for "everything".
 Since Cantina Goccia started its  wine in paper in June 2020, it  filled 114,000 paper bottles: 64,000 wine bottles  and 50,000 bottles for others, including Marka Rome, which resigned from paper bottles in April 2022.
 
 He has done this from a "semi-automated" system that requires human assistance at every stage of the charging process and "therefore costs more due to labor costs and slowness".
 
 Bottles British sustainable packaging company Frugalpac uses six times the carbon to produce and discard glass bottles. In addition, they are five times larger than glass.
 
 Cantina Goccia has committed to moving 80% of its wine production into paper bottles.
 
 "Although we are proud to be the first wine  sold in friendly bottles, we want to help other brands  to change to friendly bottles," said Cantina Goccia owner Ceri Parke.
 
 “That's why we decided to change from the  current semi-automatic filling service to a fully automatic filling machine designed  for  the Frugal bottle brand. test and deploy this new machine, which we helped  design, based on our  experience  with glass and meeting requirements," said Parke.
 
 "We believe Frugal Bottles can dramatically reduce the beverage industry, and we are excited to launch a  new filling service that will help other brands reduce their carbon footprint."
 
 Frugalpac CEO Malcolm Waugh said Cantina Goccia's move  was "a big vote of confidence in our paper bottle revolution".
 
 "Their Milk juice sachet side seal packing machine service designed  to fill  paper bottles is helping many wine and spirits companies switch to low carbon packaging and we thank them for their continued commitment to making bottles sustainable."

 It comes as Carlsberg unveils its first  beer bottle in June 2022. The first such paper bottle  is already in production at the Cambridge, Ontario packaging plant.
